Zeitoun

Zeitoun is a hero in many ways. In the first chapter,Zeitoun hear that Hurricane Katrina has the potential of becoming a Category 5 storm.  Although avoluntary evacuation is ordered. Kathy insists again to Zeitoun to leave, but still Zeitoun wants to remain in order to secure his job sites and watch their home.  This is heroic because he wanted to stay back and help and take care of the home while others left. He is brave, stubborn, fearless, and persisant.In a way he is a tragic hero do to the simple fact that he doesnt listen to warnings. He feels as though he knows best.
