Presidential debate:
When watching the
debate I was impressed with a lot of things that both candidates had to say. What
Obama said I agreed with was his outlook on investing in energy production such
as wind and solar power. That is something that is very important for going
green and not using extra energy and wasting more money. Obama has also brought
up his interest in bringing up education and to be better and math and science
and to become a brighter country and don’t need to go overseas for people to do
our jobs.
One thing that I was
confused with is how Obama kept bringing up how Romney wants to spend 2
trillion dollars to the military that they don’t even want. Then Romney came
out and denied that he ever said that. Where exactly did Barack Obama get that
piece of information? Also something else that confused me was how Romney said
he wants to crack down on china when they cheat. I don’t understand exactly
what he means by that.
What's interesting Chris is that both candidates assumed we knew things that were not obvious--china cheating and money for the military--clearly they were referencing earlier comments. I share your interest in green energy--but did you notice that twice Romney tried to suggest that Obama was throwing money into those kinds of companies and some are not doing well?
