Presidential Debate: Domestic Policy

While watching the Presidential Debate tonight on domestic policy i saw a few things that i did like and some things I didn't like.
- I like how President Obama was speaking on behalf of the middle class, saying that he would cut their taxes so that they would be able to save more money to spend on things they need like a car or a computer for their child to go to school and with the spending of money it will help stores to produce more. Obama also state that he would also raise  new programs which will raise new standards for schools and teachers and with that more science and math teacher will be hired.
- I didn't like how Romney said that he would cut out after school programs, get rid of the Obama care plan, get rid of PBS and much more. Romney stated "Some of these things, like those endowment efforts and PBS I very much appreciate and like what they do in many cases, but I just think they have to stand on their own rather than receiving money borrowed from other countries, as our government does their behalf". Even though i disagree with some of the things Romney said i do commend him on being very aggressive and sharp with his comebacks to President Obama tactics.

  1. Renetta--well said! Romney definitely was very aggressive and sharp and I think some were disappointed in Obama last night. Good details to notice about teachers needed--there was also something about how Romney wants to measure teachers performance, or schools? Maybe someone will remember...
